January, 2021: Dr. Ssembatya’s wife and daughter both contracted grave cases of COVID 19. In order to pay for their medical care, he was forced to sell his home, medical practice, and other property. We are sorry to report that, despite Dr. Ssembatya’s best efforts, his wife passed away from COVID 19. Their daughter Natasha recovered.

March, 2021: Dr. Ssembatya also caught severe COVID 19. I4H-US did our best efforts, sending donations to help save his life and pay for his care. After he successfully came out of an induced coma, he learned that his son was also in coma with severe COVID 19. Dr Ssembatya collapsed again, and passed away. His son Kevin recovered. The Tabula family has taken the two destitute orphaned children, Kevin and Natasha, into their home alongside their own children.

August, 2021: The other doctors, who had been trained by Dr. Ssembatya, have ensured that Robert and his family receive COVID vaccinations as thanks for taking in his now-orphaned children.
